Does anyone know how busy they get? Outbound is around 6pm on a Thursday and Inbound is 6.30am on a Sunday.

It was 10 years ago I transited through NRT and I remember the shower rooms then had the traditional Japenese buthtubs and it was a real luxury to have a soak in this sort of tub for a while after a 12 hours flight. The Narita website didn't make any mention of this - are they still there?
iirc, most of the showers in nrt are japanese style (though a bit on the small side, if you ask me). on your return, why not go into narita for a few hours?
