Showers and Day rooms
I've got 3 hours on the outbound and 5.5 on the return at Narita. I plan to use the showers on the outbound and the showers and Day room on the inbound. Do the day rooms have showers or are they separate? Can you book?

Does anyone know how busy they get? Outbound is around 6pm on a Thursday and Inbound is 6.30am on a Sunday.

It was 10 years ago I transited through NRT and I remember the shower rooms then had the traditional Japenese buthtubs and it was a real luxury to have a soak in this sort of tub for a while after a 12 hours flight. The Narita website didn't make any mention of this - are they still there?
