I was in that Garden Suite years ago at Amanpuri and the internal road of the resort is right next to the outdoor pavilion so you can not use it to relax.

Had the same experience at Amanwella too. The toilet room is a hot box, the pool had no gate on the incoming stairway back then so you could not walk out of the pool with out your swimsuit. I remember sleeping on the thick towels in the bedroom as it was so hot you needed them to absorb the sweat. On the same trip Amangalla was perfect.
