In my case I think the stress of being so cramped up in such a tight seat exacerbated and my 210 lb, 6'2" body just decided to reboot at the time.

Even though the cause of the problem was the seat itselft, and I did complain about it, no compensation was offered under no circumstance.

Lucky for me other airlines fly the same routes... but the food... well, I really prefered having brie with lunch! Too bad Air France won't be receiving any money from me any time soon unless my miracle, ORD-CDG flights drop beow $200 roundtrip. We can all dream, right?

I will faint to that!! Just kidding, but I will be a little more upfront with the FA/GA when checking in, as I did so on the return trip and I was bulkheaded.
I still don't feel why you feel you are entitled to any sort of compensation. I'm sure there are many people of similar dimensions who fly in coach on long-hauls but don't seek any sort of compensation.

If you don't wish to fly Air France, fine, that's your call. You pay for a coach seat, but expect AF to bend over backwards to give you something (which isn't quite clear). Did you try any of the on-board exercises demonstrated in the "Comme un nuage" video or are listed in the AF on-board magazine.

The coach seat dimensions and pitch are available in the public domain. If their coach product isn't to your liking, either buy a K fare and upgrade, by a premium cabin ticket or fly AA and enjoy their MRTC program.

However, blaming Air France and mentioning legal action.... quite frankly, I suspect you wouldn't get very far, especially since this was a couple of years ago.
