I booked a award ticket (off-peak & reward flight saver) for EDI-LHR-ZRH on the 20.08. however I would prefer to fly EDI-LCY-ZRH with arrival after lunch (not evening). I am monitoring daily the avaibility via BA website but it seems there are no reward seats for LCY-ZRH on BA8765 (only BA8767). If I look a the normal (paid) flights avaibility it seems the EDI-LCY-ZRH with BA8768 is not more expensiv than other flights via LHR (which have reward seats avaiable). I understand that the reward seats might be sold out or not offered but how is the chance they are becoming avaiblble for BA8768? Should I call BA contact centre? Should I book the EDI-LCY-ZRH flight with evening arrival in ZRH and ask during check-in in EDI if they can move me to the earlier LCY-ZRH BA8768 flight? I travel with checked luggage so changing in LCY would not be an option (only on the start of the journey in EDI), I am QR Plat. member (One World Emerald) if those two points would effect anything.
