DP on Marriott

Marriott card referral bonus posted within 2 weeks directly to Marriott account without ANY indication on the referer's card (not showing as pending pts, unlike the UA Explorer card). Referer's card has no transaction the past month, hence no statement but does not affect posting of referral bonus.

Referee card was applied on 07/17/24, instant approval.

I never see the 40K in pending on my card. When I went to Marriott site this weekend to search for hotels, I saw 40K was posted on my account on 08/01/24. 2 days later I got a notification from Marriott informing points were added to my account.
