I'd thank them for getting me a room in another Marriott. This is not the hotel kicking you out so they can host some private events. They need to close for safety reasons, and did find you a Marriott room elsewhere. You don't have to go to that hotel, and if you go, it'd be challenging to get them to pay for the transport.
