Was looking at this option on Marriot's site, and it is available for booking on Sept. 1. Would have given it a shot if available Aug 30!

Edit: I called the hotel and a very nice gentleman answered a few questions for me.
* He said that they were taking reservations for Sept 1, but they were still planning on opening for business in "Late August".
* No executive lounge but there is a library area adjacent to the pool on the sixth floor.
* Plat elite breakfast is going to be a monetary voucher for the French/Texas restaurant on the first floor called Bouvier Brasserie.
* Garage is valet only (shows $45/day on the website) but there's a public parking garage 1 block away if you want to self-park.

If they will let me stay Aug 30-Sept 2 then I may consider it. It is currently about $40/night more expensive than The Sinclair which has a lounge and $25/day self-parking, but the novelty of a brand new hotel intrigued my wife, so we'll see. I'll be sure to report back.
