Not sure what your question is on Delta having different restrictions. Different airlines have different policies.
Thank you for the explanation. As you mentioned, United's size restriction is on Length + Width + Height. I thought that Delta's restriction of 63-80” (161-203 cm) was also based on Length + Width + Height, so I was curious why Delta would be so restrictive vs United when they usually have the same policies specially on international routes.
