Nonetheless, it’s completely absurd that you would be penalized for trying to help AA avoid a IDB situation, but this is where we are today.
I’ve never seen a place on the app after choosing a VDB amount where you can choose to select new flights now or at the gate. Is that just on the website or does it only happen sometimes?
