Past week: European feeder flight + CDG-YOW. Nothing on the MH. On the LH, chief purser welcomed me on board, asking many questions about my job, my travel trends, regular destinations, thanking me for my loyalty, etc. Really enjoyed that and it contributes to an overall great onboard experience. He was then proactive in trying to upgrade me using miles (23 seats available in J, 12 in W and the Y cabin was full) I rejected the offer as I found it too expensive for a day flight. After the meal, he came back to upgrade me to W as another passenger had a seat issue. However, he placed me on a seat with broken footrest. Towards the end of the flight he came back to me with a few comments and encouragements based on the earlier discussion, which again was really appreciated.
