Bad news, the tickets are directional and it won’t go through the barrier at either end. Chances of sympathy are minimal. I’d grovel to customer services and buy another ticket in the meantime.
oh dang that seems really unfair, the app was glitching when I was buying so it reset the direction without me realising.
it’s the same price in either direction so don’t get why they would do this other than to profit off people’s honest mistakes
I won’t be buying another ticket. They can have my mistake donation this once, but I’m not going to use them again if their polices and customer service is this unfriendly. The Elizabeth line is only a little bit longer anyway.
