I won't do a match until 2026 at the earliest anyway as I don't fly enough to benefit from status in multiple airlines at the same time and they usually deny you a future match if you have had one in the past.

I've signed up to ITA Volare and matched (technically still in the process, awaiting final outcome) from BA Gold in the hope that Volare elites will have their status grandfathered into LH M&M before the end of Jan 26 when my Volare card expires
