I probably would, based on my limited experience in the BA lounge. In fact, last couple times I flew BA out of SFO I either went to the AC or one of the PP lounges since I couldn’t even find a place to sit at the BA lounge.

As for whether or not one would want access... the pictures and lounge reviews should probably suffice as to whether or not it's worth time?
I was able to get in prior to my QR J flight, although it was kind of strange since it didn’t seem they were going to let me in until they realized that I was also a OWE. I thought OW long-haul J would be sufficient.

No regrets at all taking the detour to T1 to check out the new lounge. Space was really nice, and it was probably only 10% occupied at the time.
