I'm not suggesting that the OP is required to fly out of AMM under any relevant regulation; I was merely inquiring if the OP had considered a ticket from AMM; in case there were more convenient flights, perhaps directly to DUS and might even be cheaper so the immédiate financial burden would be reduced. It appears that the OP had indeed considered this so that ends the discussion.
