Did you check options/fares from AMM? Crossing the border between Tel Aviv/Israel and Jordan should still be possible right? - and it quite straight forward as I recall it (sorry, may not be updated on the situation there).
To refresh, EW had the responsibility to book the OP on the next available flight out of TLV to DUS & the regulation EU261, suggest you google it, does not specify the OP should trek across Borders with all the potential dangers that entails
