Vail's updated schedule

"Not sure if this will be true but if it is not, please don't shoot at the messenger!
My Flighty app shows an updated schedule for Alaska's new seasonal flights between Seattle/San Diego and Vail, but both expertflyer and alaskaair.com have not shown this new schedule as of August 3, 10:48am EST."

Alaska Airlines has just updated its Vail schedule and this is indeed the new official schedule!

San Diego
AS 3489 SAN-EGE Lv1254 Arr1630
AS 3490 EGE-SAN Lv 1710 Arr1848

Seattle
AS 3486 SEA-EGE Lv1355 Arr1740
AS 3486 EGE-SEA Lv1820 Arr2037

Forty minutes turnaround time, but I want to caution that more changes may be coming. Given the seat map just came online a week or so ago, I won't be surprised if there are more changes. Inaugural flights will sometimes also get a unique schedule too.

However for those folks who want to do the inaugural flight, you may want to adjust your schedule accordingly.

Here is the original (current) schedule:
San Diego
AS 3474 SAN-EGE Lv1100 Arr1428
AS 3474 EGE-SAN Lv1445 Arr1614

Seattle
AS 3486 SEA-EGE Lv1015 Arr1356
AS 3486 EGE-SEA Lv 1700 Arr1906

It really does not make sense for Alaska to sit an aircraft at Vail for two and a half hours, or maybe there are slot/gate issues too. The new schedule makes more sense and the San Diego to Vail flight will be first Alaska Airlines' arrival into Vail now.
