My terrible run of luck with Paris continues UA56 supposed to depart at 9:45am pushed back at 3.30pm. The inbound was late due to maintenance and then we were delayed for two hours to get people and cargo from the cancelled Chicago service UA986.
Polaris is mostly non Revs I think and the service is poor as a result as they look after their friends. Flight deck barely an apology but they want you to know they are frustrated too.
I guess at least I’m not on DL.
it’s not just UA I have cursed: LX15 last night couldn’t retract its landing gear so back we went to JfK (landed fine)
LX rebooked me on AA then an AF connection I’ll surely miss (but at least I have other options including SNCF if I make it that far). This single PNR is entertaining now with various cancelled and rescheduled flights on LH, LX, UA, AA, DL and AF….
The weather was a debacle last night too but JfK seemed to be vastly superior to EWR.
