Related for any UK residents flying domestically in the US, the new TSA machines (replacing the TSA human check of your ID) at some airports don't take UK drivers licenses as valid photo ID, so you now need to carry your passport as photo ID travelling domestically in the US.
Yes, TSA policy is US or Canadian driver's licenses are acceptable ID. For others, passport or US issued federal ID if you have it (green card, global entry). Just a note on minors, TSA does not require ID but US airlines may have their own policy. Always check with the operating carrier if a minor is traveling so you know what the airline requires. Especially if the minor is traveling without an accompanying adult.
