LH Group was advised by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs to minimize risks.
It was a commercial decision by LHG, other airlines are still flying, so EW could & should have done the right thing & rebooked the OP on the next available flight.

Last time this happened i was rebooked onto Aegean without any drama by LX.
