I had the opportunity to tour the new terminal today, and it is spectacular. It has a very welcoming and calming feel for such a large space. I think the architect was going for the feel of walking through a neighborhood and the dappled light of a forest canopy, which they executed perfectly. They are projecting to cut over from old to new around 4 am on August 14. TSA has the new automatic tray return system, which will be a welcome upgrade. CLEAR won't be available on day 1, but is in the works. Can't wait to try it for real.

Midex - thank you for sharing those. How were you able to tour it?
I am waitlisted for the big dress rehearsal tomorrow and think my chances are slim to none, so curious if anybody else on here will be part of that?
I’m super bummed - in part - because I’ll miss the big reveal (unless I can get to the dress rehearsal tomorrow) as we fly out for Europe (we are moving there) on Aug 9th. So badly want to see this new space in person as it will be an awesome leap forward for PDX on so many levels!
