I thought I would try something different and pre-book an Uber and this turned out to be a monumental waste of time. I had no less than four drivers accept the trip and then cancel, and eventually it timed out. I then went back into the app and just requested a standard ride and it was accepted by a guy who was already parked up at the airport! A minute later and I’m in the car heading to the hotel. Lesson learned on that one, no more pre-booking.
