$1700 isn't too bad. The DL "A" fare from ATL to HNL is typically $1300-$1400. It is interesting to see what we consider cheap compared to others on the board.

I did the 764 to HNL last year, it wasn't too bad. Seats are a bit a narrow, but the IFE kept me entertained, food was decent, and icecream to boot.
