Thats not a terrible redemption, but transferring to Hyatt will likely get you more. However I happen to be low on Marriott points and need some, so I plan on transferring about 150-200 of my chase points, because I often dont stay at Hyatt due to lack of availability where I travel.
I am currently very low on Marriott points, and every so often I redeem an award or find a convenient Bonvoy hotel for my needs. And I
might get the Brilliant card soon for some Platinum years. As I have a pile of Hyatt points and an even larger pile of URs, I will probably convert some of my URs to Bonvoy points. Bit of a gamble, but it seems reasonable.
