I can't at this stage explain this. Tomorrow's BA6 is indeed cancelled, but today's BA5 is showing as operating in Flight Status, when we are now several hours past departure time. I doubt it could have actually departed since all the signs (etc) in LHR would have said BA5 is cancelled.
BA5 was cancelled 30 minutes before departure via text/email. It randomly stated departing C gates at some point but then disappeared off the departure boards. Full kick out of terminal then commended after being given our hotel voucher.
Probably hasn’t been officially cancelled as there is nowhere to put all the passengers. All Haneda flights are booked until at least Monday according to customer services.
