Can someone advise how to get from T3 to T5 without leaving the security area (if possible) and approx time to get there? How is the Finnair lounge in T5? After checking bag in DFW, will I get bag in HEL to clear customs and recheck or will it go to KRK?

There is an airside bus that connects T3 to T5 running every 15 mins or so. The bus leaves from gate K20. Once you're on the bus it's about a ~10 min ride.
Not sure what lounge AY is using at T5, but T5 itself and all of the lounges there are absolutely dreadful. Spend as much time in the AA Flagship Lounge in T3 as possible before heading to T5, preferably just before boarding starts.
And yes your bag will be tagged all the way to KRK.
AY uses the (dreadful) Swissport Lounge at T5 so the AA FL is your best bet. AY will want to reprint your boarding passes onto their own cardstock at the gate so keep that in mind.
