I grabbed a Wizzair flight to Larnaca for 450 EUR (by far the highest I ever ever paid for a single flight on an LCC).

I then purchased a Eurowings flight for 300 to DUS in BEST (Biz is not offered on the flight).

I will expect them to compensate me for the forced downgrade plus the two new flights.

Considering I could theoretically just wait for the next available flight on the 10th and demand reimbursement for 250 per night at the hotel (TLV hotels are NOT cheap) plus food, laundry and other incidentals, I believe I have been very reasonable.

I will try to reach them today to see if they somehow can re-book the existing booking for TLV-DUS for LCA-DUS and directly refund the new LCA-DUS ticket. There was only 1 seat left which is why I grabbed it before the flight sold out.
