Is Conrad Istanbul as good as the reviews suggest? Are there really good eating options within walking distance? We will be visiting for a week and would appreciate a bit more space as it seems Conrad's rooms are quite large. I have HH gold status so not sure what sort of upgrade I'd expect booking an entry level room.
I'm staying there regularly and it's excellent, both rooms and servicd.
There is a very lively area with lots of restaurants and night life just across the street. Food at the hotel is also great, both in restaurant and bar which I highly recommend to not skip. If you have lounge access, the food there is also great and can replace a dinner.
Easy access to touristy areas by a ferry or a bus, but at the same time you're staying away from them, which is exactly the sweet spot I'm normally looking for.
