AA offering free WiFi to AAdvantage members was a false rumor spread by a blogger. The actual announcement was that AA was going to allow AAdvantage members to redeem miles for WiFi. I’m not sure if that has been implemented yet.
OK thank you. I was on a A321NEO to Hawaii last week and there was no option for TMobile visible, but since the wifi drops about 30 mins into the flight, it appeared to be set to 'free' for everyone. Maybe that was it.
