A few months ago, I started planning our November trip to France. (50th Anniversary). The very first day I looked, I spotted TK business class (787) IAH to IST, then Biz IST to NCE. 87k miles!! Killer deal. I booked immediately. That mileage fare has never appeared again in the last three months.
I Was able to select seats on both legs through the app. Four hours in IST would give us a great opportunity to check out the famous lounge.

Then, I chickened out. There are so many complaints about TK: computer glitches, lost seat assignments, uncaring employees. I checked every day for a better deal. Finally was able to get Premium Plus through Munich, which, to me, is the easiest airport in Europe at which to connect. 50k miles for the PP seats. 767 so seating is 2/2/2. Plus, it’s only about 13 hours total instead of well over 17.

Maybe one of these days I’ll try TK again.
