Not Alaska's fault. The portion of the terminal that the new lounges will be located in hasn't even been built yet. The lounges will be part of Phase 2 construction (see diagram two posts above). The challenge of this project was building a new terminal directly on top of the old one--all while keeping it operational for 15-20 million passengers per year the entire time. In the two pictures below, you can see the footprint of the old and new terminals overlaid on top of each other.

Being my main airport I'm somewhat embarrassed to not know this and I apologize if it's been asked previously but did the airport lose gates? It looks like the new terminal is right where the first couple gates for the C/D concourses were located.
