Thanks for the reply. I reposted similar on the delay thread.

Essentially he wasn’t offered access rail. Needed to act fast so jumped in a cab from the airport to the train station and bought his train tickets on route.

As I understand he was told he’s been rebooked on the 1850 tomorrow to which he said, no, I’d like to take the train. Agent said he can’t do that, would you like to cancel the flight. He said no, so agent said I’ll leave it as the 1850 tomorrow.

I think the reply was along the lines of ‘whatever’
as they were now pulling up at the train station.

Tomorrows flight is showing on his account.

His goal is to have BA pay for the train ticket.
