Out of curiosity I did some research, still 9 B777 running, of which 2 are the almost 19 years old leased C28 version, vs the other 7, average 12 years old C40 version.
Beside some Gulf and ME connections, the C28 pair is almost dedicated to Manila but occasionally FCO and Phuket. C40 are dedicated to ULH such as Sidney, Melbourne and Toronto, FCO and DUB in Europe and again Phuket. Thus be aware if you fly such destinations. *Update, one of the infamous C28 is now often used for CGK on EY474/475, maybe due to seasonal peak of tourism and Haj/Umrah pilgrimage.
As said above while not too fancy, I agree C40 is not too bad in my opinion. so far the airports of my interest CGK and MXP are now served only by B787, but who knows in the future.
