4) Now, on seats, here it gets tricky. YES, SQ has the ability to change your seats for the second leg. In my case, this was done at JFK, but I was in First and kids were in Business. Wife and I were on opposite sides of F cabin to FRA, then next to each other to SIN. Kids also got moved so they could enjoy seats with proper footwells on the second leg. HOWEVER, I suspect all of this was because wife & I were flying First. For a typical J/Y passenger, I'm not sure how accommodating Singapore would be. But worth giving it a shot.

Late to the thread - booked on SQ25 in J (party of 4) - and will want a shower @FRA- so thanks! AC it is unless any very recent advice to the contrary.

And.. left seat selections till too late. In fairness, since we rebooked, at no point did it show 4 seats available for selection- any 4…Useless MNL call Center could not assign the available bulkheads at T-96.

Interestingly enough, OLCI shows 3/4 having different seats for JFK-FRA and FRA-SIN. 2/4 bulkheads on each leg - 15 K/F, 20A, 21A to FRA and 15K/11A/22D/22F on the second leg.

Be interesting to see what the boarding pass looks like (&apologies in advance to passengers being subjected to seat swap requests from a family with a big chap who can only survive SQ longhaul J in a bulkhead..and two 5 y.o’s assigned seats at the far end of the cabin.
