The Aloft is much closer to the airport and therefore a shorter shuttle ride. But it's a long hotel as in you may have a long walk to get to the room. I quite like that Aloft. The Westin is great but not great enough that I'd pay extra for it. It shares a shuttle with the Aloft.
This comports with my half-dozen stays at the Westin and Aloft, most recently in October 2022. It is also a good neighborhood for a walk along the bike path by the Bay.
