Are the responses above still valid? Booked a BA Holiday with a one night stay in a hotel. However being somewhat out of the way, and seeing some unfavourable reviews online, I have now booked something more convenient.

Don't want to cause any issues for my flight home however.

I did this earlier this year. No showed for the first hotel on a trip that I had thought better of. But I did stay in another hotel that was part of the holiday, so maybe not quite the same? If it was a commuter hotel I really wouldn't worry, people no show at them all the time, they aren't going to report it. If it was a resort hotel I might ring them up.
