I like a bit of diversity and was pleased that they announced a rotating selection. Pity that nothing is actually rotating

I happened to notice that they used half bottles of Pommery Louise on the ground at LHR on a trip to BDA (Bermuda) last week, not sure if that is common, or extended to in-flight too. ISTR Champagne halves typically aren't quite made in the same way as larger sizes, but I can't say I noticed in this case.
There were only two of us were non-staff pax in the cabin if that makes any difference (a further three who joined us in the cabin were on staff/mates of staff travel).
There was no alcohol on the ground inbound at BDA: another one of those local law exceptions apparently.
