I would doubt that explanation. The aircraft used was scheduled to arrive in Prague after the planned departure of your flight and waiting 2 hours before departing again. It kind of smells of lack of aircraft to me.

Your options are basically a claims agency, the national mediation board, or small claims court if that exists as an option.
