Flying from Edinburgh to Halifax in premium.

No menu today. Flight attendant asked "Chicken or Pasta?" I asked what kind of pasta and she told me they ran out of Pasta so it's the pasta in the cardboard box from economy. I declined and said I'd have the chicken. I have no idea what I'm about to get. Spicy chicken? Chicken and rice? Chicken with tomato sauce? Who knows.

Certainly a different experience from when I flew Halifax to Edinburgh 3 days ago and I was handed a menu and greeted by my last name.

Edit:
It was a roast chicken with gravy, potato wedges and some veg. I asked if I could have salt for my veg but FA said they don't carry salt and pepper.

Flight departure was 9:30am so I think I would have appreciated a breakfast and then a snack before landing, since we land at 11:30am.
