Courtyard was great and upgraded to a suite as a Titanium. Very nice welcome gift for Titainium I assume. Local area around courtyard not so great for my style, but it's central, so going to other places is not too difficult. Breakfast was ok, but a weak point in my mind. They have a "fresh" juice bar, but only use one or two fresh pieces in front of you for the drink. The rest is poured from containers, strange and suspect. A few of the ready made juices were disgusting. Other things like almond milk are nice and some organic, but it's not cold, left in an open front fridge. Waffles, pancakes, french toast is loaded in bulk at a station away from the kitchen, I like when they just do several pieces and replace as needed. The serving containers for vegetables, etc didn't keep food warm, cold is gross. I enjoyed the area around where the W is better and might try to stay closer to that area if I went again, but probably not at the W. I would probably stay at the Courtyard again though as the room was super comfortable and very nice.

The Stones is a SKIP for me. No welcome gift other than 1000 points or a few other choices. They weren't good choices and foolishly I chose "exotic" fruit, it was terrible and not special and the grapes tasted bad with seeds. The suite didn't feel comfortable at all and just funky. They could hire a competent designer to add a few small touches and it would be 100% better feeling in the room. The bedsheets were ROUGH, not comfortable at all. Breakfast was lacking too. Proteins were strange and not good. I guess they don't serve pork, and what they had was not good. Might have had some sort of chicken, and that was the only un-processed meat I could find, but was picked over. I did mention it to someone who came by to check on things and they cooked up a couple of shrimp and lamb pieces for us. That was a nice touch, but too late really, my opinion was formed. Also there were perfume smells throughout the hotel which was annoying for me. The bar area by the pool was set up strange and there were like 5 double tables with several chairs and one or two people at each, so not many options to sit at while at the bar. Again, commented and eventually they moved a table. Just didn't have a good feeling in this hotel and wouldn't go back.

St Regis was great and upgraded to a villa. I will say while people seem to rave about the breakfast, I thought it wasn't all that well done. The fruit they were serving looked worse than a $50 hotel in Bangkok. The Villa was very nice and fun though and I'd go back if I have the $$ or points to spend for special occasion.

I wasn't all that impressed with Bali, but we did have an enjoyable time there. I imagine 30 years ago It might have been so cool. Koh Samui was better recently for me. Have fun! .
Give this man some food! Lol 😅
Sounds like you didn't have anything good to eat in Bali haha
