If you are going to downtown Washington, 2V seems to be a much better option. There's not much in northern Virginia (IAD).

DCA is a decent alternative with at least 3 shuttles there from LGA and BOS but who wants to drive 2 hours in morning rush hour if you can just get out of IAD go 5 minutes and be at a client site.
