Double check your e-tickets - IT problems.

Note of caution on BA direct bookings at the moment ...
they seem to have some challenges in sorting out your eTicket even though you have paid etc.

First warning sign seems to be that you don't get the confirmation email (which is usually from [email protected] )
Second warning is that in your booking you can't pick your seat (not even if Gold/Emerald status)
Finally look in your booking info the eTicket field is blank (should start 125- usually) and you can't get a receipt under Manage My Booking etc.

If you are arrive at check in with this issue it can be sorted out, but not always, and not usually quickly as the check in crew have to call the booking centre to fix it.

If you are out of hours due to timezone, this gets worse....
You will not be able to fly without it being fixed which is also easier to fix if you are flying BA metal vs code-share metal.

Any other people with similar experiences
(and by the way, the mainstream BA website is still showing too busy at times)
