I had a similar one, but it was a "seatbelt detector". We hit the brakes hard before getting to the gate and to make a joke, the flight attendant said that we had to stop because the seatbelt detector had determined that a few people had unbuckled their seat belts... it was hilarious to hear how many clicks there were when people suddenly started rebuckling their seatbelts...
