Blast from the past - adventures in mileage runs and old status benefits
The site linked below is basically a should out to old timer FT'ers.

I came upon the following website while searching for information on EIS airport somehow. The conversation is enlightening. I only recently started getting status with AA and was previously with US Air without status years ago.

Status sure ain't what it used to be! Upgrades on long hauls, and such.
