I am trying to write these in FAQ style, but please don't worry if anyone wants to rewrite them in any way at all.
Writing clearly is a skill but also a process that benefits from multiple authors. Where ambiguities are present that can usually be resolved, but if the result is too long people are not able to process it.
And, as we have seen, the lack of a precise answer for the specific questing somone comes with means most people will prefer a customised answer to reading a FAQ.
The TP run thread can often be unwelcoming to people who don't appear to have read the extensive FAQs there. I have some sympathy for that, in that just a few minutes effort would answer many questions. But it does go to show that when you extend the FAQs to more than just a few bullet points you may well be wasting your breath.
