Pretty common problem and yeah, no impact to GS since it won’t count either way. Of course miles earned will be different between 11x and 300%, but probably not that much with the fares you quoted.
Could be a married segment problem as well, which dates are you looking at?
the fare class availability limitation is annoying, but normal.
