Companion pass or intra-CA?

I've taken a lot of random vacations with the promotional Companion Passes because the average fare was less than $50 for both legs. Many of those flights have extremely light loads of 20-40% so I had more room than flying first class or on JSX.

I have noticed that since moving from DL where the last ATL-SEA of the night was used as a de facto shuttle to JBLM, the last DEN-SEA of the night on WN is often used for the same purpose and is often full as a result. WN's current open seating policy actually works very well for military transport purposes.
