Southwest's changes have been mostly favorable for A-list members. Of course nothing could beat the days of double trip credit for online booking, with 4 cheap round trips earning an unrestricted systemwide round trip pass. That was as crazy as today's banks handing out 100k points for a credit card.
it is not something new on this forum, but for those of us who between RR 1.0 and RR 2.0 have hundreds of flights on WN and have provided likely well over six figures in revenue for 3+ decades to WN it sure would be nice to finally see some type of lifetime status. Even from just having ALP status for many years in a row recognized somewhat like AF does with their plats would sure be nice. WN has really missed the boat on this for business travelers.
