It's still a 45 minute cut-off for domestic bag check. DL has the 20 minute guaranty, which is usually met at LAX, but if OP's inbound flight is late, the bag check cut-off will become an issue (separate and apart from the issue of how to get four full-size bags to the UA counter in T7).
