Would anyone like to comment on the following statement on El Al's FB partner page?

Now that I look back, the same is stated on Oman Air's FB partner page too.

The first FB partner that was added which specifically did not earn XPs (even at a time when XPs could be earned on all non-Skyteam Flying Blue partner airlines) - Etihad - specifically has no such statement on Etihad's FB partner page regarding miles earned on EY being an overall-extending activity - which is exactly as expected.

I'm at a loss to explain why both WY - and now LY - have these statements on their respective partner pages. We're still pretty sure that flights that don't earn XPs are not overall extending activities - right? Is Flying Blue simply "adopting" the old-style template when adding new partner pages, rather than adopting the new/current style as was used for Etihad?

Or are they really saying that earning Flying Blue miles on Etihad has no effect on your mileage expiration, but earning Flying Blue miles on Oman Air or El Al will extend all miles for a further 24 months??? Why the inconsistency???

And I also find it annoying that, more than 3 months after the bulk of non-Skyteam Flying Blue partner airlines stopped earning XPs, they still haven't properly re-written the relevant partner pages. The "fix" where they dropped in the text that, as of April 1 things would change, is no longer quite up to the task of explaining the current situation.

It would be great if they would properly edit all the partner pages to bring the pages into alignment with the current reality of how things actually are.

Perhaps @Ben Lipsey can bring some clarity to the situation? Thanks in advance!
